Default Man at C&A

There was a story on BBC Radio 4's Toast program today about the clothes chain C&A which closed in England in the 1990s but remains open in many countries in Europe.
They specialised in making clothing similar to expensive brands but undercutting them by using a higher percentage of synthetic fibres in their fabrics.
I remember going to my local C&A and buying men's bikini swim briefs in yellow and a men's string swim brief in red and turquoise in the 1980s. I still have the string swim briefs although the elastic is a bit crispy now.
At the time I already owned both 3" and 2" nylon Speedos in black. C&A sold me my first men's swimwear both in colour and in Lycra.
Does anyone else remember C&A?
