Comparing the Manually Operated Vacuum Pump with the Rechargeable Electric-Powered Pump, Swim Brief Edition.

I have both kinds of pumps , but I have long favored the manual pumps because I get to chose how much vacuum there is inside the tube moment by moment, and also easily stop and start, with maybe some time between each pumps.

The electric ones cost only a bit more on eBay and other online retailers than a manual one. Insert “electric vacuum penis pump” into the eBay search bar and you will see the electric and the manual ones. Currently the price for an electric one depending on vendor in the US is between $20 and $40. but the higher priced ones seem to be nearly if not totally identical to the lower-priced ones.

Although I have both types of pumps, I have long believed that overall, I liked the manual ones better because I had greater control over what was happening to me moment-by-moment.

Just for fun, I recently dug out my electric pump and recharged the head where the rechargeable batteries are with a USB connection. Once recharged, the pump head worked fine. There are multiple settings to raise or lower the amount of the vacuum once you get inside the tube. First, put the sheath on the bottom of the tube and the electric head on the top of the tube. To get inside the tube all you need to do is have the tip of your penis near the hole in the sheath, and when you turn on the pump and start the vacuum at the lowest setting, as soon as the vacuum starts, the pump will pull you into the tube through the hole in the sheath. The hole in the sheath might appear to be smaller than the diameter of your penis, but not to worry, it will fit.

At that point, once you are inside, begin raising the vacuum level by controlling the setting on the pump head. Start at a low vacuum and gradually increase it using the electronic controls. Things will happen to you. Unlike with the manual pump, you may quickly find yourself in a situation where you start to feel that you have lost control over exactly what is happening to you. Welcome to being a male! But this sensing of being out of control with an erection coming on whether or not you consciously are in control of what is happening to you down there (I had that problem regularly back when I was 15!) is fun despite what I thought when I was a teenager.

A problem I encountered is that the vacuum works so well it starts to pull the entire sheath out of position and pulls the sheath inside of the pump. I think the solution is to install a penis ring at the base of the pump around the top of the sheath. The ring will act as a tight band that will continue to hold the sheath securely in the correct place until you want to end. Once you are ready to get out of the pump, snap the ring down off the pump to the base of your penis. That tight ring on the base feels really very good.
