Around 10% of men are gay. Many gay men try to hide their sexual preference by marrying a woman, just to conform.
Popular myth has it that gay men are more likely to wear speedos than str8 men. If a man is gay and marries a woman in order to conform he will therefore never wear speedos.
Whether a man is str8 or gay it is always easier to conform than to express your own preferences freely. It's hot in Greece but it's easier to conform by wearing knee length shorts than to wear short shorts or even speedos and appear to be the odd one out and possibly gay.
So if you see a bunch of men wearing knee length shorts remember that 10% of them are gay and the rest are cowards.
