When I looked at all the styles and prices of underwear I too said "why bother".Its been a few years since all my undies went to Goodwill. I have lots of speedos so use them if the need arrises. Spending $30 on one pair of briefs is (to me) insane. I also can't figure out boxer briefs. They are hot to wear and pants get hung up on them when you sit. Remind me of an old fashion girdle women wore.
