Default Part 20 - Meet the parents

If you're looking for hot steamy sex, it's not in this chapter, but it sets up the seen for some teenage love.

Before I start, I have to say that this story lay idle for some time. I kind of lost interest in it. Then SwimTeamSpeedo wrote the closing chapters on Summer In The Band which were outstanding and gave me the inspiration to get back to working on this story. I wish I could write as well as he does.

Over the next two weeks as the swim team season and school year wind down, Timmy and Julie spend more time together. Timmy thinks she is SO easy to talk with, she’s funny and makes him just feel good. He’s starting to feel what it’s like to be in love with a girl. Is it love? Wow, he gets these cool feelings inside and just wants to be with her all the time. He thinks about her in class, when trying to concentrate on homework, when he should be settling down to go to sleep his mind is racing about the next time they can be together. And he pleasures himself thinking about her, things she says and does to him, although she’s done nothing more to him than hold his hand or sit on his lap and squirm or talk about how sexy the guys look and he looks in his red TYR team speedo.

Julie is a pretty smart girl. She’s got a plan but sure doesn’t want to disappoint Timmy if it doesn’t come together so she's not discussing it with him. Now that school is out, Julie’s parents and Julie spent quite a bit of time at their lake house, about an hour from where they live. During her Dad’s vacation, they stay up all week, or sometimes Julie and her Mom stay up there when Dad has to be at work. Julie wants to get Timmy up there for at least a weekend if not a week. But caution dictates she handle it carefully – probably baby steps first. She approached her Mom and asked if her new friend Timmy could come up to the lake for a weekend? She’s almost sure, since it’s a boy, Mom is going to tell her not only no, but hell no. To Julie’s surprise, Mom says – “if it’s OK with Dad it’s OK with me”. Now Julie has to sell the “old man” on the idea. Ummm, Julie thinks, that’s going to be tougher.

She finds her dad who is working out in the yard, and says, “Dad, is it OK if I bring a friend to the lake next weekend?” "Why sure, Jules, you know that’s OK,” says Dad. “Well, I know it’s usually OK but the friend, um, well, er, ah…it’s a boy!” “Wow, Jules, nothing like you’re full of surprises today! Tell you what, before I say yes or no, I want to meet this boy. Can you bring him over?” “I guess so,” said Julie who now has to figure out what to tell Timmy to get him to come over. So Julie went back to her Mom and told her what Dad had said. “I think that’s an appropriate answer,” said Mom. “Tell you what – invite this boy over for dinner one night this week.” “That’s a GREAT idea, Mom, thanks!” exclaimed Julie.

So Julie immediately called Timmy and extended the invite, not sharing anything about the weekend. Let that be a surprise, thought Julie. Timmy asks him Mom who of course agrees (and Mom has no idea it’s a girl who asked him). Mom tended not to be all that curious, she had met all of his swim team friends and decided that they and their parents were all pretty good people.

That night, 6 PM sharp, Timmy made his way to Julie’s house via his bicycle. It was about a mile from his own house. Timmy is of course a bit nervous about the meet the parents bit. He was in his mind, considering Julie a girlfriend at this point although there had been no formal talk about that they were “seeing each other”. He wondered if Julie considered him a boyfriend.

Julie’s parents were quite friendly towards Timmy and Mrs. Pearson immediately said – “Oh, I recognize you from the swim meets but I didn’t know your name. I saw you win the Fly hands down a couple of weeks ago, you were amazing.” Timmy beamed and from there it was just a very friendly evening. It went so well that while they were all enjoying some of Mrs. Pearson’s homemade apple pie and French Vanilla ice cream when Mr. Pearson blurted out, “Timmy, why don’t you join us at the lake this weekend.” While Julie beamed, Timmy was quite surprised by the invitation – he had no idea that this dinner meeting had an agenda,at least that thought darted through his head, but apparently he passed. Mr. Pearson said, “Mrs. Pearson will call your Mom and let her know that we are inviting you up there with us.”

Timmy beamed, thinking how cool it would be to spend a weekend at a lake with Julie. “We have swimming, sail boat races and it seems we eat 6 times a day,” added Mrs. Pearson. “That would be awesome, thank you very much, Mrs. Pearson,” proclaimed Timmy.

The phone call occurred later, out of Timmy's range of hearing while Julie, her Dad and Timmy were in the living room chatting. Mrs. Pearson left the room to make the call. Upon returning about 15 minutes later, the deal was sealed, according to Mrs. Pearson. “That was a long call, Mom,” said Julie. “Well, Timmy’s Mom and I had a lovely conversation. She’s very nice and we are going to get together for coffee at her house on Wednesday since she is fairly new in the area and doesn’t know a lot of people yet.”

Timmy was relieved that all this occurred without him being in the middle and having to ask his Mom. Then it struck him, did Mrs. Pearson tell her that it was to be a weekend at the lake with a GIRL? Now Timmy started to get a bit worried about what he might hear when he got home, but it was done, whatever happens, happens!

A half hour later, when Timmy arrived home, his Mom greeted him with smiles. “I think it’s lovely your friend’s family has invited you to their lake house,” said Timmy’s Mom. “Yeah,” replied Timmy, “I saw pictures, it’s a great place.” Timmy is now thinking he dodged a bullet on the girl thing. The conversation continues for a couple of more minutes, and them Mom said, “But you haven’t told me anything about Julie.” “Oh, Julie,” said Timmy, “she’s on the girls swim team,” trying to dismiss that there’s anything more to the relationship. “Well I think it’s nice you have your first girlfriend,” Mom added. Timmy didn’t know what to say, he just turned red. That said it all, and his Mom let it drop.

The next chapter will be at the lake.
