What was interesting to see was that many of the guys were wearing briefs with the rest wearing jammers. It looked pretty evenly divided. So, high school guys are wearing briefs, not only for their meets, but for practice as well.

Anyone who's worn them*** know that Jammers are very irritating and restrictive of movement. Once the rational wears off that jammers are magically faster, swimmers will go back to briefs.

*** I bought a couple of packages of jammer style underwear (because they were on sale, not because I liked them) and tried them on. The feeling is horrible and that's the end of my experience with wearing long legged shorts of any type.
