Any opinions on Dietz swimwear?

I just bought 2 pairs of Dietz swimwear.

The Curacao peach bikini swimsuit and the Traxx gray swimsuit. I was contemplating buying the Diez navy swimsuit, but it was too much of a "string" on the sides.

Have any of you guys bought Dietz swimwear?

Dietz

Purchase - no - but I remember seeing the Pineapple suit as quite
attractive (post#26 of September 8 - Tiny Speedos thread).
You have chosen Peach which appears identical - but from a closer look it would seem that the color of the exposed stitching is all that differentiates them.

I did choose the peach/cherry color.

It must be a germany company based out of mexico. They ship all there product from Mexico DF (state/province name).

Speaking of Mexico City, Mexico DF; I found this city to be very gay friendly. Just at the airport alone, I counted 8 gay couples either holding hands or kissing in public. I was quite surprised. I didn't even see this type of activity at airports like NYC Kennedy or London Heathrow. ;)

Read their history section:

Diëtz History

Our brand has its origin from Europeans who immigrated to Brazil at the of the XIX century. They brought from Europe the tailor knowledge to make clothes for men, including underwear.

Distrito Federal

Mexico City carries a DF suffix just as the capital Washington is DC.
Government wants to encourage more gay tourism - Church (surprise, surprise) does not.

The Catholic Church backed the losing side in the Mexican Revolution, it came under a lot of legal pressure and public disapproval for backing the hated dictator Porfirio Diaz. So there is a plus side to religion to stay out of politics, to support separation of church and state, a lesson that seems quite lost on a lot of American sects that are always lobbying, with their tax exemptions based on being non political, to push their views on others with the force of law. In California many churches were totally open during the prop 8 anti gay marriage campaign with phone banks and petition drives, they really do need to lose their tax exemptions.

As to Dietz, I have never owned one but they look damn good!
