can anyone tell me why a good friend of mine (speedo lover) when he emails me urls that usually are in color that opens without problems but many he sends are in black and white wont download or open, your help would be deeply appreciated thanks.

copy and then paste the black and white ones into the URL line of your browser. Dont just try and click on them'
