Shorts over running tights
 

Have you noticed in the last couple of years the number of males wearing shorts over running tights?
Local boys football (soccer) clubs have been doing it when it's cold, they have to wear their team colours international rules don't allow Lycra shorts or one piece suits so they wear Lycra under their team shorts.
A number of adult male runners are also doing it, we used to run with split running shorts under Lycra running tights and strip off the tights if we warmed up enough. I suspect that they are too shy to wear Lycra running tights without something on top to cover them.
