Clearwater Beach
 

Hi all,

New to this board but used to frequent the "real men wear speedos" board.

Just returned from a few days on Clearwater Beach, FL. To my surprise there were a few other swim brief wearers. A teeny tiny bikini, a jammer guy, and a few assorted in between. Still the exception but certainly not extinct.

LOL - we've seen what Coogee has as the "sexiest beach in Sydney" - so how would Clearwater rate ? - Or must the FL title go to SB ?

Who is the committee of "they" that gives these ratings and do we really care? The sexiest beach is whatever beach happens to be a personal favorite and what makes a beach sexy is a personal choice. Having said that, Clearwater happens to be a very nice beach...and unlike coogee it appears to have a modest diversity of swimwear.

I have traveled extensively, and my favorite beach is the lower beaches of the Outer Banks in NC, USA.

Indeed Clearwater beach is a very nice beach, everytime Iv bebe there I allways see speedos around, its Clearwater is also a nice place the mouvie (I cant remember the name but its about old folks having something to do with extra terrestrials0 But the Clearwater scenery is fabulous.
LOL once more who says that speedos are dead.

I think the movie was called "Cocoon", filmed in the St. Petersburg-Clearwater area.

:) Yep - a film from 1985.
Not usually being a sci-fi fan I was intrigued by the story of aliens from the planet Antarea coming to Atlantis on planet Earth 10000 years ago and their subsequent activities after the earthquake.

Yes Cocoon it was, beautiful scenes of St. Pets. in the Clearwater region. I didnt see annt speedos in the film but a few sexy squarcuts.
