heading to Portugal/Southern Spain..any beaches?
 

I am heading to Lisbon Portugal in about 1 week. My friend and I are staying a few nights in Lisbon, then renting a car to drive down to the southern part of Spain.

Anybody have any suggestions as to beaches? Cities/towns/villages to visit?

Anything gay going on in this region? :D

My last trip back in Sept 2014 was to Sitges, Spain. It was a wonderful beach town!!! Sure miss it!

I understand that Arthur Wellesley the Duke of Wellington to be built some serious defences around Lisbon. he was expecting a siege from Napoléon. They defences are still there and said to be spectacular. Worth a look if in the area.

I'm headed to Lanzarote in March, myself! Looking forward to getting my tan lines back :P

when I was in Southern Spain a few years ago the told us not to swim in the sea because the water was so dirty you'd get disentary. The beach side pool was nice though
