East End hard man actor Ray Winstone was on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs this morning, he said that when he visited Hawai he swam in his hotel's pool in Speedos and that if stranded on the "island" he would want an almost all over tan and wear Speedos or even a thong.

You can be hard and wear Speedos.

That's funny. If anyone walks by and pokes fun at him for wearing a thong, for example, I can imagine him walking to the person and asking "Do you have a problem with that?"
