Tunneling

1 Attachment(s)
I swam competitively in college in the 90's in the days before jammers. We wore tiny form fitting racing suits. The concept was the less you wore and the tighter it was the faster you could go. We even downsized them, as if they weren't small enough. This often resulted in butt crack showing and we called it 'tunneling'. The guy in the picture is tunneling. Actually I think it feels and looks good. Any opinions on how a speedo should fit the butt? Any tunnelers out there?

When it comes to swimming (or any other athletic activity) less IS definitely better.

I hate jammers for swimming and those Gawd Awful "Half Pants" for running.

Bring back the pre 90s speedos and shorts ASAP.

welcome

Yes, does look good. Have not heard of tunnelling before but pic there (with neat tan line also) definitely belongs in cool photos.
Bum cleavage often to be seen with the the sexy little Japanese suits of course (and their downsizing sometimes seems to be double or even triple!).

On a technical point is it in fact unadvisable in terms of competitive swim speeds where a small area of water resistance is created ? (not that I'm complaining)

YES, please bring back Speedos and short running shorts.

Of course, my running shorts happen to be Speedo brand. I've removed the liner and cut the side seams so they are split to the waist. Feels like you're not wearing anything, and some days when I go out the door for a run I have to look down to make sure I've got something on. Being a home (and hiking) nudist, sometimes I forget!!

I never heard of "tunneling" and I'm from the same time period college late 80's early 90's. I'm sure we had a similar term but can't recall at this moment. I like the jammer not for swimming but for running or hiking I like how the jammer keeps the muscles from tiring as quick. I feel the difference when I wear the regular running shorts.

(this was in fact a guy promoting Speedo Endurance by saying this is what used to be his swimwear before he found their wonderful new jammers).

An article with a girl's point of view (and with a strange anatomy perhaps as she refers to a kick in the balls): http://www.mediocreathlete.com/swimm...g-is-bullshit/

Yes, strange word - to make sense a noun is required, not a verb.
(no.2 sounds like cruelty to animals and no.3 must be docking):

Tacky Taco

This is apparently Taco-Bell's response to an Illinois sophpomore who broke all his school's swimming/diving records and wanted a custommade speedo to say "Think Outside The Buns"

"tunneling" looks hot. specialy when you are very slim and you show a "little more" of you.
