Do you take your shoes off in your house and others houses?
 

We were brought up to always take our shoes off, I still do this now but I do put my shoes on inside the house rather than on the doorstep like Mrs Bucket makes her guests do.

I always take my shoes off before entering either my home or that of others. Then I normally put my shoes back on either at the door on the entry rug, or in the hallway or garage when leaving. I don't require my friends to remove their shoes, but happy when they do.

It depends on the place. In my own home, I usually remove my shoes when I get to my computer desk. In someone else's home, I go by what they want. I have some friends who don't care. Others have specific places where they ask for shoes to be removed

In your own home you may do as you please, as a guest you should follow the example of your host, as a host you should avoid embarrassing your guests. Only a fool buys white deep shag pile carpets and invites the local rugby club round straight after a match.

It depends. Which is why I always wear BLACK socks.

I never had to take off my shoes before entering my house. I remember my uncle had a policy for his guests before entering his home starting with taking off your shoes and also he had a rule where guests and friends had to remove or have all clothes removed, before entering his home. It was quite unusual, but many of his men guests of various adult ages really liked it. One of my first times as an adult in his house, his all clothes and shoes off policy was being enforced by him. It was late 1970's during the time disco dancing and clothes were in style. Being it was on a weekend, he invited me to stay overnight, and I forgot about his household ruling. It was a very cool chilly fall day and I was wearing my favorite disco style snug bell bottom jeans, two tone red button up semi dress shirt with my new tan colored leotard, tights and sexy speedo style briefs underneath. My snug disco clothes were snug and warm and felt so nice, as I rarely dressed like that. When arriving, he was standing at the door wearing just a long toga style bathrobe while giving me a look of approval, admiring my sexy men's disco style outfit and me forgetting about his household policy, when he said shoes and socks come off, despite my feet being still encased in tan tights. then I was escorted into the polar room with a lot of fancy mirrors and fuzzy carpeting, again reminding that all clothes have to come off now. I was somewhat shocked and began blushing asking to stay in my warm snug outfit. He then said "relax, while undress you' I couldn't hold still and soon had a full hard on and watching the mirrors, as he slowly unbuttoned my two tone red shirt, then got it off me. I was beginning to enjoy feeling his warm and gentle hands slowly pull and tug off my snug bell bottom jeans, then soon the sexy tan colored leotard, tights and finally my clinging bright red speedo style briefs were peeled off by him, now I'm naked and hard. It was somewhat time consuming for him stripping off all those snug layers of disco clothes and leotards off, especially my childish squirming and pouting. The feeling was beautiful, as all my snug sexy disco outfit was stripped off, soon, I was naked and erect. We spent the rest of the evening in his home, both of us totally in the nude. It was a lot different from just taking off my shoes in my house or other houses. It was quite erotic for me, despite loosing more than my shoes and socks.

Yes. My mother also taught me the same things. I am also used to put my shoes outside the door, but now, I keep the shoe rack at the right side of the door inside. As soon as I enter the door, I keep the shoes inside the shoe rack. This way the house doesn't get dirty.
