Should I buy or pass ?

Love this swimsuit from Timoteo for a while. But there were only XL size available.

Recently, there is an offer on Ebay, but still in XL. XL is for 36 inches waist. It has internal drawstring.

Myself is 33 inches waist, my butts largest measurement is 36 inches. Swimsuits I own which fit really good is at 32 inches or M or L(measured with tape).

Question is, should I buy it, even through it might be too loose? It is going to stick our 4 inches at the minimum.

pass... it will fit like a bag.

Agree, the model look awesome with that suit.

For myself, from past experience, I have to try out wearing it to see if a specific suit actually looks good on my body.

Update:

I ended up purchased the Aussiebum Lowrider-Blue-Wave when it was on sale in the summer. All the sudden this year (2018) Aussiebum produced a suit looking 95% similar to that of my favorite Timoteo suit which had long been sold out.

https://www.aussiebum.com/swimwear/l...blue-wave/4109

I believe I wear it looking pretty nice on my body too !

The suit is on sale again now.

So there is a Happy Ending !!

Somehow I missed this thread in 2013, this was you dream suit, if you had bought one too big and it had flapped about in all the wrong places your dream would have turned to dust.

You did the right thing waiting and buying the Aussibum version.

Timoteo's loss, they should improve their customer service.

I would had regretting, if I bought the XL Timoteo swimsuit. True it would be flapped about in all the wrong places.

Aussiebum makes quality products and is what I trusted. The swimsuit fit perfectly, I believe!

And, with today's social media I have been following both Timoteo and Aussiebum pages on Facebook. A year ago, a photo of the old Timoteo stripes suit floated to the top of page on FB again. I asked Timoteo were they having the stripes style reprised and for sale again? Timoteo replied no, it was a product 8/9 years ago.

Seriously, soon after that within a few months in 2018, Aussiebum introduced this new Blue Wave swimsuit. I was shocked.

I posted a message with product link on Timoteo FB page, showing them Aussiebum's new stripes swimsuit. How it's resembling their old suit and this time I would not miss buying it and told them how happy I was. Timoteo acknowledged the post with a "LIKE".

And I also posted a message about my missed Timoteo suit on Aussiebum page. Telling them how happy I was that with the new Blue Wave, and thanked them !

Bought these in the Aussibum sale:
https://www.aussiebum.com/mens/swimw...ish-candy/4272

They were half price and with some underwear postage was free, but was charged £4 (20%) plus £8 handling fee by the UK Post Office. So unless Aussibum can sort out their UK VAT payments I'll have to stop buying Aussibum and the handling fee is prohibitive.

I do rather like those briefs though.

NJHunkguy 12-24-2019 09:44 AM

The PINK Swish Candy swim brief looks real good. Big deal when they have the 50% off sales. For me in the U.S., no extra charge by the post office.

Wow.. You look fab in this swim underwear, its pass without any second thought.
