Do different suits (colors or fit) put you in a different mood?

For example, a light blue one make you feel like you are in the warm holiday spot, even if you are in a lap pool.

A Brazilian cut makes you feel like you're in Brazil.

A black brief makes one feel like a serious swimmer, or maybe makes you feel tough (maybe because it resembles pro wrestlers in a match; or if a suit is very snug, feels like you're wearing protective gear in contact sports)

A red suit may make you feel like a life-guard. (I realize a real guard suit says "Guard" on it)

Rubberised dark blue makes me think I am a great water polo player.
I have an aversion to red suits for some reason (though I think that
black guys can always wear them well).
The mood for Lifeguard would scare me as I might actually be thought
capable of an efficient rescue.

I agree -- I'm not a fan of red too. They turn often show through more than darker colors like navy blue -- especially after you swim.

white makes me feel real sexy, its a solar so it figures
black turbo, black tyr are real athletic for swimming
brazil team turbo sturdy and tight for body surfing, also athletic

I don't think I ever wore a white suit. I think you have to be confident to wear one but it's great if you can.

James, get yourself a white suit.
Wear it around your own home and garden a bit to see how it feels, test it in the shower, how see through it is and does it look good wet?
Now decide if you could wear it on a quiet beach, busier beach or even the pool.

Of course if you are getting white you should try to get something briefer and more daringly cut than usual.

The beauty of that Aqux design is that it is mainly white, but the bright blue areas (also available in red in the same areas) make certain that the suit doesnt go transparent in critical areas when wet.

For starters, the front pouch is double lined, so transparency there should not be an issue. The blue color in the rear covers any area that would otherwise show an outline if it became transparent. The center seam is actually mesh, and stretches, but is very clever and conveniently disguises the butt crack.

So, those of you who wanted to try a white suit but worry that the white will reveal too much when transparent, this is the suit for you. The one I have is a medium, but if you are concerned about the suit riding too low try a large (about a US 34) or even an extra large (US 36). Those should be a bit bigger, and ride a touch higher in the rear.
