Not quite a Speedo, but

Here is one of the William Levy nearly nude photos that was the subject of news media attention relative to him being on Dancing With the Stars

I'm not into the whole sheer thing, but he certainly has a really handsome body... :)

Crail 03-28-2012 08:37 PM

STS - agree with you totally

tightjeans 03-28-2012 09:56 PM

May I ask who is William leavy?

Byron 03-29-2012 12:36 AM

model

William Levy Guiterrez, born in Cuba - actor and model who emigrated to Miami - known on tv in Dancing With The Stars.

You can find him on Google Images without the mesh if you wish - he has a big cock but I don't think STS will call him just a kid so I think it will be ok for you to have a look (as long as you're over 18 of course).

sebbie 03-29-2012 12:53 AM

He is considered to be the Latino Brad Pitt
Lots of spanish language roles on TV

Pardon me for being the skunk at the garden party, but I don't like anything that accentuates or literally exposes the male genital area. That includes thongs, jammers, or tech suits.

These "suits" are OK for those who prefer "XXX" viewing, however I think a plain vanilla speedo that accentuates the form of the male body is more appealing.

However as the old saying goes "To each of his own opinion" and if you like it, that's perfectly OK with me. :D

the Levy image

:) This should be ok as he is covering up his naughty bits:

Btw I know what a skunk is and that Joe Sneider offers Wine
but where do I get a plain vanilla speedo?

sebbie 03-31-2012 01:23 PM

That hat is definitely NOT a Speedo

Sebbie

Torchwatch 03-31-2012 03:09 PM

Remember reading tales of rock climbers in the 1960's, one had a memorable woolly hat that was used for many purposes including as a bag for raising chock stones and as swimming trunks. Quite how you use a woolly hat as swimming trunks was never explained, but it all happened in the tarn at the base of Clogwyn Dur Ado (the black crag) on Snowdon.

I have actually swum in one of the tarns on the steep side of Loch Ness, a very lonely place where only deer and sheep visit, the water cold and peat black, and the weather turning towards rain. I even had a woolly hat with me that day.

Scotland:

This could be anywhere but I actually found this guy prepared to get his nuts frozen in his speedos in Loch Ness:

Crail 04-01-2012 12:29 AM

The swimmer in icy cold waters of Loch Ness may have found that his "nessie" may have shrunk severally and gone into hiding. LOL

Byron 04-01-2012 11:36 PM

PS to freezing

Looking at the detail of that guy's blog for his visit to Loch Ness I see that it was in 2007 and he was then a 17 years-old from the Gold Coast.
No doubt born/arrived there as a youngster of Scottish descent but what a contrast with those long warm beaches available to him up there (or should I say down there?) !

Byron 04-02-2012 01:43 AM

no plain vanilla......

:) .......but here are some of his very respectable modelling shots:

I don't get it. If he is such a huge latin celebrity why is he in an underwear ad/catalog? Usually "celebs" with lackluster popularity are the ones tossing off clothes and exposing all to get noticed. Seems like if he is that famous Playgirl would have paid him a lot more to show off his crotch.

As for the underwear, looks desperate to me. I prefer the more covered look with something left to imagination. If its that sheer, why wear anything?

Torchwatch 04-05-2012 09:46 AM

I have been to Loch Ness but was advised not to swim there, the water is peaty black, freezing cold even in summer and 800 ft deep.
Your "little monster" might shrink but the bigger problem is rapid body temperature loss and hypothermia.
On the Loch Ness project we were forbidden from swimming off the raft. When someone dropped a diving mask into the water it disappeared into the black water almost instantly and was lost.
I went up the steep side of the Loch following General Wade's Military Road then cut cross country to the little tarn I swam in. So easy to get lost up there, I had to walk on a compass bearing to get back.
So exciting to swim alone in the wild, exciting and a bit dangerous.
A close encounter with a big stag surprised us both.

sebbie 04-05-2012 10:27 AM

As I understand the story, he begin his career as a male model. Then got picked up as a Spanish-language actor. So the underwear modeling precedes the acting career.

Underwear modeling is a very specialized (and apparently very highly paid as male models go) subset of (male) modeling and to get to do underwear modeling is the goal of many young and aspiring male models. Not all males who might be very good at modeling other kinds of clothing make good underwear models. For starters, the guy has to have a really excellent stomach for it, as in really tight abs and a slim waist. Then there is the issue of "endowment". The bulge has to look just right for the cameras, and not be either too big, too small, or too revealing in detail. No doubt padding is used in a lot of photos, but the sheer Levy photos suggests that he has just the right equipment without any help whatsoever. In sheer underwear modeling, there really isn't the option of using padding to primp the bulge.

ABC apparently knew all about the underwear modeling photos before they signed him on for Dancing with the Stars and probably correctly concluded he would boost the ratings. I expect him to be a voter favorite for many coming weeks, and each week we will see a little more of the body. This week, we started to see the bare chest. What happens next week everyone will just have to tune in to find out, but that was the whole reason for signing him on the show.

No plain vanilla

Byron, thanks for the wonderful eye candy - he is dreamy

Torchwatch 04-05-2012 09:09 PM

The vanilla pod harvest failed last year, the price of vanilla is rising due to shortage and speculation. maybe it is time to consider something more fruity.

Torchwatch 04-05-2012 10:09 PM

Not Quite Speedos but what's happening?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcNcC...feature=relmfu

Ok they are Japanese and they are wearing fundoshis, but why are they playing catch with a rather large boat?

Byron 04-06-2012 01:21 AM

ice cream speedos?

 Yep, an odd plant and it is apparently an orchid and labor-intensive to harvest and able to grow in only a few places in the world.

(would be fascinated to see the relevant speedo)

Byron 04-06-2012 02:17 AM

boat tossing

Not Japanese - the Tao people of Orchid Island off Taiwan.
(unfortunately where Taiwan's nuclear waste products are also dumped).

The great canoe launching is one of three traditional annual ceremonies
and a new fishing boat is put to sea with chanting and dance for a prosperous harvest
of flying fish, to be caught between March and June.

Loch Ness

Och Aye - you were in the very deep waters of the Great Glen - Scotland's coast-to-coast ancient geological fault line.

You were indeed in a lonely spot in walking the military road* to the tarn:

http://escape2places.files.wordpress...inwarning7.jpg

Btw, you met your stag much like the Monarch in her Land Rover met the Monarch of the Glen (the stunning scene from the movie The Queen ).

*Wade built 250 miles of road and 40 bridges for George I following the Jacobite Rebellion of 1715. Four new military garrisons were to be linked
and if you were on the south side of Loch Ness it was probably the Inverness to Fort William military road (the ten companies of militia he also created later became the famous Regiment of the Black Watch).

I think this is my little tarn, it doesn't even have a name on the map:

General Wade's Military Road is now the B862

We were staying at Fort Augustus, mine was the only small tent that didn't blow down.

Wow, great resolution - and good job you had your compass with you.

The stag shot was fabricated but nevertheless a most memorable movie scene (and it later died at another's hands in the story of course).
