Received the new gold color Speedo Solar. I really like it, but it does become fairly transparent when wet. Don't think I can wear it to the public Aquatic Center. Guess this is another one for my backyard pool. Great suit though and it's double lined front and back.

thats surprising with double lining its transparent when wet! 3 reviews on the web page and one mentions swimming in it with no issues!

I also have one. It doesn't become transparent but most definitely shows a lot of detail. I don't think it's appropriate to wear around families with young children.

Those Speedo Solar briefs are great and do fit well. I have two of them and i like the new colors. Yes, they are well lined inside, but I don.t mind, as they do feel nice and worrying about others looks or comments, as the guys staring probably wish they could wear a Speedo swimsuit too instead of those baggy board shorts.

Mmm, Speedo USA site does not ship internationally. Did not realize that.

They have Speedo international site but not list that gold color :(

Speedo US is a completely different licensee of the Speedo trademark than in the rest of the world.

For us in the US, it makes it very hard to get the neat Euro-cut Speedos from Speedo Europe.

About the only Speedo products that are the same world-wide are the technical suits.

After some thought, I decided to return my gold speedo suit back to Speedo. I have enough speedos that I don't wear and that one is another that I could only wear in the backyard. It just shows way too much detail of my junk.

I feel that way about a lot of the suits pictured on this site that claim to be swimwear.

I was able to get a Gold Thong that I can use in the ocean at public beaches. Speedo never made nice thongs like this.

The USA and Britain are very conservative about what you can wear on the beach. I try to push the envelope without getting arrested!
