speedos in Jamaica
 

hi all its been a long time since i last posted hope you can help.
the wife and i are of to Jamaica later in the year, we are staying at negril at the sensatori hotel. has anyone been there and if so are speedos or thongs on guys ok to wear.i have been working on my tan and only have two small white triangles and would love to spend two weeks in either small speedos or thongs. thanks.

Speedos fine, thongs not. Never saw a thong at any resort in any case.

They are far and few between but you won't get arrested or anything like that. If you're headed to Hedonism though - you may be overdressed. ;)

Looks like you have a full range from full cut briefs to minimal thong. Do you think you will be OK in the very small thong?

Nice selection for your trip. I have two of your first post in yellow an blue. A very comfortable suit. Let us know which suits you wear and how things went.

check local laws regarding thongs -- not acceptable everywhere. Before someone says discrimination -- not permitted on Men OR Women.

On Negril, Speedo-cut suits and thongs are legal. (Although you won't see many thongs on men or women.)

I've worn a thong on the beach when we stayed at Firefly, CocoLa Palm, Treehouse, Travelers, and Skylark. I even wore a thong while doing a standup paddleboard up and down the beach. For beach walks, I went conservative and wore a Speedo. My wife went top-free at Firefly and CocoLa Palm.

Whenever I hear someone talk about what (and what not) to wear at Hedonism II, I have to tell the story about the young, apparently newlywed man who was staying at Sandals next door but was hanging around in a kayak off the nude beach at Hedonism. The somewhat militant nudists at Hedo eventually tired of the man's gawking and several of the men waded out to the kayak and took the guy's shorts. They waded back to shore with his shorts, telling him he would have to come to the beach to retrieve them. He did and wound up spending a bit of time and sharing a drink naked on the beach. Somehow I doubt he told his new wife.
