Team GB Dive Team "Group Buy" v2!
 

Last year, we tried to get a group together to have the Team GB suit recreated (with a few changes for legal reasons). We came up just short of the 12 orders we needed. I've since found a company (Delphina Sport) who will do it for as small as an order of 10. Is anyone still interested around the same price point?
Price would be around $36USD

I'm back! With good news!

Turbo apparently lets you custom-design a suit and will print as few as 1. I submitted the design and attached is what they came back with. I'm awaiting pricing information and will keep you all informed.

Well it WAS 30€, but once I told them the initial shipment would go to the US, they've transferred my order there. I'm working with Kap7 to get the order done.

Official Water Polo Suit & Cap of the 2012 USA Olympic Teams

I looked back thought my emails and you found it. I ordered Large, and they where tight. these suit do not stretch much. Johnathon send me 3 suits to test fit and Large was tight, Xl looser and XXL to loose. I ordered my 2 suits in Large and they are well made and indestructible.

Definitely order up 1 size if you want them to be comfortable.

Im a size 36, and usually order 2XL.

I will definitely take one they look great. I am a medium in UK size not sure if that is different for Turbo and how much is the shipping to the UK.

I've got 3 people who have placed orders, but not paid yet. Only 6 suits are paid for.

That being said, is anyone interested to see what Finis can do? We need 10 suit orders to order from them, but I like their cut a lot more.

Thoughts?

So I have enough to place the order now, but @Wyld1 and @paspeedo both said they were in...I haven't received payment or size confirmation for either.

Anymore thoughts on Finis vs Turbo?

Ok, so I've been following up on the Finis option, as their cut is more accurate to the original suit, and their sizes come in normal numbers. Here's their first version:

I've asked them to go with a white base and gray polkadots and make the red accent follow the stitching. Any thoughts?

I've never had a Finis suit and don't know the fit.
Also I really like Turbo but its ok whichever you choose.

They're a little bit higher in the legs in the front...otherwise they appear to be pretty close. I can take pictures of them side-by-side if it'll help.


Also, they're the same price, so that doesn't change.

This is the first order, so no, not really. If you want to see the cut, check out srsport.com or look up Finis Custom water Polo suits...lots of pics of the suit, just a different print. And this is the suit from the 2012 Team GB Dive team...the coveted Tom Daley suit :P

Anyone who didn't get their orders in, there won't be a minimum for the second order...so just shoot me a message if you want a pair and we'll work it out.

Also, I updated the graphic above with the FINAL design. Only difference is a white base instead of gray.

The suits have shipped from California to Texas. They should arrive next Tuesday, when I will verify addresses and get everything shipped out.

Yeah, but I haven't seen another suit whose dive suits were as unique as Team GB.
