Alas even this forum's only competitor "speedo forum" seems to be in a slow decline with less people posting but at least it still has a moderator keeping spam bots at bay.

Fairfax's comment leads me to wonder if women have forums where they can discuss their love of bikinis. I would most likely not join in, but the world of women is so different from the men's online world. Would they even bother discussing the pros and cons of minimal swimwear?

Women have a whole range of magazines and even radio shows (BBC Radio 4 Women's Hour) in which they discuss women's issues, fashion and cosmetics.
In women's sport there are currently ongoing debates about allowing schoolgirls to wear tracksuit bottoms or shorts instead of knickers and flappy skirts, also they are demanding that dark shorts, knickers and skirts be adopted by sports teams as white shows up blood.
All the pressure from the media is forcing women towards slimness and fitness making many wmen feel inadequate about their bodies and wish to withdraw from sport and avoid brief clothing.
The man who is a bit plump and has a small willy will declare that he needs his wallet and phone in his pockets at all times and wear big shorts, women don't have that option, they have handbags.
