volleyball shorts have traditionally been shorter than basketball. These are actually a bit longer than the local collages wear

Yesterday, while flipping thru TV channels, I came across an Australia vs. U.S. rugby match. Much to my surprise, the American guys were wearing shorter shorts than the Australians. A couple of Americans had them very short, and quite tight.

To mix topics, I have a acquaintance who is a serious beach volleyball player and he said that he know one person who always competes in a speedo and has seen other do so occasionally. The regular thinks it give him a psychological advantage.
