OSU etc.
Thanks to Swimmboy and apology to PSD as post#36 for The Olympia SF w.p.club is for CD
(btw a nice little blue TYR fitting well here too: http://24.media.tumblr.com/9f339b64b...qi5no1_500.jpg) |

The one above was photo-shopped guys.

fake
What gives it away ? - seems to be very well done and I was only just a little doubtful about different countours at the leg seams.

Who is that diver? Anybody know? Hate it when its anonymous. lol |
I love pics with men wearing the "bikini" type of swimwear. The side inseam is 1.5" or less.
|
Nice pics...great bulges.
Alex is great when it comes to a nice bulge...everytime! |
Re. post#44
Yes, very frustrating
Can't ID anonymous diver on platform Can't retrace blog now Can't even read logo on his unusual suit design |
Re.post#45
Is 1.5 given with reference to TYR in post #41 - or another ?
PS: there are inseams and sideseams - I guess you mean side seam as true speedos don't have inseams |

Doesn't the logo look like the Arena logo?
I believe he is a Greek swimmer or water polo player. I have seen another pic of him in a group. Let me see if I can attach it to this message. |
Yes, I met to say side seam on the swim wear. The lesser the fabric, the better. :)

Also.....
I only posted AD's video in #49 because you said in #46 that Alex shows a good bulge as usual. However, in #44 I posted Troy - so are you getting mixed up again between two divers - or have you spotted Despatie elsewhere ?
(I don't see him in this thread). (btw, the small amount of suit fabric can be desirable as least or less but not as lesser in your syntax) |
totally confused
I see three guys in your attachment but no way do I recognise there the American swimmer in a skimpy blue TYR I posted on #41.
However, to say Greek is most likely to be correct as one of the water polo players has a word which could be "GREECE" on his suit and the cap has a Parthenon symbol (that which famously stands on the Acropolis in Athens). They wear blue suits and the side seam stripes very obviously show the Arena logo. Having disposed of that I can now say I have progressed a little with some research on the guy in the blue TYR* with yellow cap. His club logo is a strange M and that is for the Mission Viejo Natadores - a prominent US club situated some 430 miles south of you and whose members have been regularly selected for US Olympic Teams. *be it genuine or photoshopped - and tightjeans is probably right for the latter as such a short sideseam is unusual for TYR products. |
re. post#42
No reply to my #43 I see but would be interested to know what confirms the pic of the blue TYR as being photoshopped.
You might be interested to see what appears to be the guy in my#41 coming up again, with others, here: http://25.media.tumblr.com/8148f2aec...jkqo1_1280.jpg He is in top and second row with varying blue TYRs. Would you say he is photoshopped in the first and genuine in the second - or false in both? |
not cool
 http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mc...if0mo1_500.jpg
I am contradicting the thread here as this is not a cool photo but I guess it had to come along at some time. At least it's a conventional speedo but I still prefer my labels in the rear waist seam |
tightjeans
Still no reply to say what bits are photoshopped on the Mission Viejo guy in blue TYR with yellow swimcap.
Btw Sunwavesports seem to have smaller TYRs in nylon |
beyond cool.....

Does anyone attend swim-meets to say how rare is this splendid sight nowadays? |
Post 44 answer
The diver making the adjustments identified as anonymous by Byron is Australian Olympic Diver Matthew Mitcham. He is also openly gay. He also is the main spokesman for Funky Trunks.

attn. Joe
Great find after three months. Never did retrace that pic. but here he is in his Aussie Olympic (SPEEDO) suit at the same location:
http://cdn02.cdn.justjared.com/wp-co...-diving-17.jpg (FunkyTrunks from Melbourne is http://www.funkytrunks.com) |
which leads to.....
.....solving another mystery:
Your post#50 is not for Greece but Italy. Ignore "parthenon" in post#53 - turn the water polo cap upside down and it reads ITA. Most confusing but very funny and have you not now found him anyway ? (Paride Saccoia and his nuts ?) |

Excellent.....
I don't know how STS worked it out (nor the Funky connection) but perhaps "everything comes to he who waits" and "two heads are better than one" etc. etc. (and today seems to have come up with a few mystery solutions).

Thought this looked familiar (post#55) |
Funky Trunks
Skinnykid, I really like Funkies as welll and have about eight or ten, a mix of the classic trunk and a couple of the brief cut. The briefs are slightly more narrow on the sides than most other brands, along the lines of Turbo. I love the colors and prints. The classic is great for times when you just would rather have a little more conservative look, but still stand out. They sew the front so there is a bit of a pouch, but not obvious. What makes them cool is that the bold prints really attract attention. The service is awesome on international orders and if you join their club you get deals and points.

missed out...
Not Funky but sure didn't get him down my chimney last week !

Don't know why I am so confused there - I am looking at grey not blue - and the rear has the 'lope in dark blue for The Antelopes of the GCU swim team. |

That's a really cool suit. It looks like it is from Japan because the two characters on his suit (东京) represent Tokyo. As for the guy in the Asics suit, he really wears it well. Perfect swimmer's build! I'll bet he's a powerhouse in the lap pool. |
