Transparency can be a problem. Can go wrong wearing black. :)

Bede,

And in my case, I guess orange is NOT the new black - that expression comes from a cable TV series over here in the states.

After I finished my swim and was back in the locker room, while rinsing my goggles, I looked in the mirror and saw the outline of my dick very clearly. Guess I won't be wearing that one at the Y - I really don't want to push the envelope in a family oriented setting. I might wear it at the beach, but not at the Y.

I wore my purple AB 1.5 WJ at the gym last week, trying it out like you did, and I made sure to have my towel at the ready just in case it was too see through. But when I checked myself out in the mirror after my swim, I didn't see anything revealing, it might be because the purple is a pretty dark color?

I bought an AB 1.5 purple WJ also and wore it to swim laps and nothing showed - you're right, it is because of the darkness of the color.

Stand up paddle board in Lake Kalamzoo wearing my white Pistol Pete with blue belt! It was great!

Wore my Turbo USA Water Polo suit today to swim my laps in honor of the anniversary of our nation's independence and was recognized for my patriotism and my suit by one of the lifeguards.

Happy 4th of July to all our American board members.

I'll be wearing my USA flag TYR 2" side suit in moments at the pool to honor our Independence Day celebration!

valorian2 07-03-2015 12:14 PM

Did laps this morning, but I don't have a USA Speedo of any sort. I wore my purple Sporti brief instead. I've always wanted an American flag Speedo though, I should get one even if I won't have it in time to wear at the beach this weekend.

Still the only guy at my pool that wears a Speedo. Doesn't affect my own confidence regarding what I wear to do laps, but I will be very happy the day I see another guy there wearing one.

7_of_Fine 07-04-2015 10:47 PM

Worked out, did some yard work (but I covered up with basketball shorts for safety reasons; brambles!), took a dip with a gal pal and her two boyfriends in her apartment complex's pool, and then went home and "enjoyed myself". Speedo fetishism is a laundry-intensive kink. :p

Cooked on the grill wearing only my Aussiebum red with orange/white side panels!

Happy 4th!

SwimTeamSpeedo 07-05-2015 01:59 PM

Swam and then spent the day in my Turbo USA swimsuit, later rocked a Tyr red USA brief for a boat cruise on the lake.

valorian2 07-05-2015 06:53 PM

Today was beyond great. Me and the fiance went to a beach, my first beach in three years, and I got to wear my Aussiebum 2.5" superhero brief in public, out on the beach!

This was a big deal. This was only the second time I've worn a Speedo in public; I wear one every day at the gym pool but that's only in front of 4-6 other people at once. The first and only other time I've worn a Speedo was three years ago, and back then it was on the beach in September and no one was around.

Today I got to go to a crowded beach, set up my towel, take off my swim trunks and wear a swim brief for hours in front of a lot of people, walking on the beach and everything. It was so great, the moment I've been waiting for for a while. I felt great, I felt confident.

The best news though was that 80% of the men on the beach were wearing Speedos. The other 20% were wearing short shorts, like 3-4" inseams. I had no problem rocking a Speedo in public for the first time because everyone else was. Definitely the ideal situation for wearing a Speedo in public.

I need to do this again, it felt so great and was so relaxing.

solarguy 07-05-2015 10:58 PM

Hey Valorian, where are you that there were that many guys wearing speedos? And…do you have a guest room?

Thats great! What beach did you visit?

valorian2 07-07-2015 09:29 AM

It was a beach down in the Rockaways out in New York that I got a chance to visit on vacation. It was in the unofficial gay area, which probably explains why there were so many men in Speedos, but the gender mix was still around 50/50 and the diversity of men in Speedos was all over the map; men of all ages and body types.

Dooley67 07-07-2015 07:28 PM

Today I swam in my Tyr Jungle All Over 2" brief and did 27 laps. Adjusted the suit in the water to be very, very low on my hips and in front which felt really good.

Sorry speedorob, I'm technologically challenged. I have a dumb phone, have never taken a selfie, and even if I did, I wouldn't know how to post a picture. But, to whet your appetite, I think I looked damn good!

I sometimes wish we had a "like" button on here!! Great comment Dooley…LOVE the confidence!!!!

Torchwatch 07-08-2015 10:48 AM

If you have a basic camera that won't do delayed action countdown photos find a passing but good looking guy in speedos and ask him to take some photos for you. After playing with a variety of poses, perhaps even going into the water ask him if you could take his photo too ......

Had a swim in the local pool in this morning in my Hom briefs with 1.5 inch sides, and they really felt comfortable. The pool was packed - mostly with families, but that has no influence on what I wear. Anyway, there were girls there in bikinis with tied string sides. so who can complain?

Now that I'm home, the weather is warm, and I'm wearing another pair of short briefs (Bogner).

dorcas3 07-12-2015 11:48 PM

Y swim

In my University N2N for only 1/2 mile. Pouch front not too pronounced and allowed a certain amount of freedom to my package. Great feeling=a little low on the pubes but full coverage on the butt! Green and Gold my school colors hare in Vermont.

cjkreitz 07-16-2015 05:17 PM

Working out in my red arena samatis brief with the lining cut out :) no better motivation to work out harder :p

Swimmer 07-31-2015 09:28 AM

For the past four mornings, I have been up around 730am for a run to the beach on Lake Michigan (wearing the short nylon type running shorts and no shirt) and then changed into one of my Turbo suits (Australia, Ireland, and Mojito themed suits) at the beach and done my mile swim. I come out of the water and the beach is filling up with early-bird beach goers. The water has been crystal clear, calm and flat, and about 70-72 degrees. It has been awesome. Off to do it again in a few hours!

dorcas3 07-31-2015 11:21 PM

Short short

In my Whittal and Shon red short with no support but neat looking. Takes that restricted feeling away from the groin area and gives one a naked free balling feeling!

Memorial Day weekend meant finally a return to the beach after a whole winter away. I did two days, one with a group of friends where I wore a retro-style square cut suit and got compliments (one friend was even like, I gotta get those for my boyfriend). Other day was a speedo day. It felt great to be back out and about again in a speedo, especially at my beach where the majority of men are wearing speedos. Looking forward to summer finally being here.

Agree with your comments on this suit. I have others from N2N but this is my favorite and my go to suit.

Torchwatch 06-03-2016 06:07 AM

I went to Strood Sports Centre Pool and swam 60 lengths (25m) then a few more lengths using kick and pull buoys. I wore my new 2" Maru swim briefs, black with red side flashes. I also had new Maru goggles, they neither leaked nor steamed up and although they are a little dark for yellow I could see clearly and comfortably.
In the early morning lane swim there were 2 other men in speedos, one in square cuts and 2 in jammers. No board shorts this time. Lots of ladies in ladies one piece speedo suits.
As I left an Afro Caribbean man arrived wearing blue jammers. It's good to see male Lycra swimwear that isn't black.
I think men are currently confused, they want to do serious lane swimming and know that board shorts are just wrong for hard swimming, being uncertain what to wear instead they are staying away from the pool and letting the women take over.

Well yesterday was 104F in the Palm Springs Area and went into the pool morning and evening wearing my Rio Bikini. Today will be 108F and will be in the 100F for the next several days! My pool water is nice and warm. The feeling of getting in and out of the pool in a sexy bikini is exciting and awesome...lol:) Yesterday I was wearing a Rio Bikini similar to the one on the attached pic. Today, maybe a thong:)

Take care,

Christian

Do you sometimes just skip the suit completely?
