While Jammers cover more, I never thought of them as being all that modest, given they can be quite tight and revealing. They are a good thing for guys who maybe don't want to show as much skin. I have some and swim laps in them occasionally but I also do briefs. Depends on my mood. The middle ground would be square cuts which I also have a couple of.

I'd rather opt for a wrestlers singlet if I preferred those due to temp concerns, though to add I'd wear a swim brief under for perfection of looks and presentation.

I teach swimming with a lifeguard who wears this style. Does not impede him in the water.

I’m using a joe Snyder bikini in navy it has 4 cm side and a 3/4 rear I’d say .
However I have just ordered a mango 5cm speedo and get it delivered Monday . I was quite surprised at seeing that 4 cm measurement on my Snyder bikini because the side looks narrow and I was assuming the speedo would be considerably more modest . But with the vibrant colour I’m pretty sure it will be eye catching !

That sort of looks like overkill for teaching swimming and life guarding. Personally, I'd rather see someone like that in jammers, briefs of even square cuts.

Can't imagine putting that thing on to swim in. My warm weather attire is usually short shorts and a tank top that actually cover less than that suit does. That looks like the mini wet suits I wore surfing years ago.

I skip the shirt completely anywhere I can get away with it,
