Now that all my friends know I wear speedos it comes up casually from time to time -- and it's in a good way. Like if I'm being hard on myself for being modest or not confident or something, my friends'll be like, "Oh yeah, you wear speedos!" Which in that context makes me feel good, and it's definitely something that makes me feel better about myself. When I'm with friends at the beach it has really only come up that I'm wearing a speedo twice, once a friend asking if someone else's jammer would be too much fabric for me to wear, just as a casual curiosity. And another was when I took off my shorts and a new friend was like, "Is that your swimsuit?!" to my speedo, but she said it enthusiastically and maybe gave me a high five? I dunno, people like me in speedos, at least so far!
