My apologies for being taken in by the Australian vendor thinking he was selling genuine Speedo thongs, I would have been annoyed if I had been taken in and bought them.
There is nothing wrong with Desmiit, they are a well made brand coming from China and able to stand on their own feet without pretending to be Speedo. I own some Desmiit briefs and have enjoyed swimming in them. The UK Ebay vendor are selling swim thongs at a lower price (and with free postage) than the Australian.

These swim thongs look awesome.
