Well, 50 free, old age has its pitfalls. Truthfully, i wish I could say I intended the subtle humor. Never thought of the mixed message.

STS, 50 Free... "Depends".... LOL

This winter I have been wearing square cut underwear with fitted cycle pads. I have been cycling 25 miles a day to get to work and back and appreciate a little padding.
Over the cycling pants I have been wearing thermal base layer long pants (ankle length). These have kept me warm through storm, frost and snow. I have noticed that the warm up muscle cramps that I used to feel on cold mornings after 10 minutes cycling don't occur when wearing these tights.

I usually wear cotton briefs and prefer them to other underwear for daily use.

I sometimes wear cotton or lycra blend briefs, or else same materials in boxer briefs. Maybe ironically, I prefer the look of briefs on guys but wear them less myself. They're definitely more practical under cycling shorts.

If all I'm doing is hanging around the house, I may go commando or else wear speedos, with or without shorts over them
