Yes you are right a lot of quebecers used to go to Hampon beach in New Hamshire but less go there now.
the reason for that is that it depends on the exchange between the US dollar and the cdn dollar if the us dollar is to high comparing to the canadian dollar then it would cost the canadians much more then if the us dollar had a lest rate or the percentage of the canadian dollar would be at par.
The second reason reason is because much mor quebecers go to Old Orchard beach simply because its much closer to them then Hakton beach.
When trhe canadian dollar has a rate higher then the US dollar we see much less americsan tourist coming to Canada.
Here is another example canadians used to go to Florida in the winter time by the thousands to florida beach resorts (MIAMI BEACH, FORT LAUDERDALE, HOLLYWOOD, AND MANY OUTHERV PLACES) MOST OF THESE BEACH RESORTS HAVE BENE TORN DOWN TO REPLACE THEM WITH HIGH RISE CONDOS SO MUCH LEST CANADIANS GO TO FLORIDA FOR THIS REASON.
aNOTHER REASON IS FRENCH CANADIANS HAVE BENE ACCUSED TO BE VERY POOR (GREEDY TIPERS) THE REASONS FOR THIS IS THAT IN qUEBEC TIPS ARE INCLUDED IN THE COST FOR MEALS IN RESTAURANTS THUS FOR THIS REASON TRHE CANADIANS ASSUMES THAT TIPS ARE INCLUDED ALSO IN FLORIDA RESTAURANTS MEAL RATES ANYWAY CANADIANS GOT FED UP BEEING TERMED A BEING GREEDY AND MANY CANADIAN TOURIST NEVER WENT BACK.
ANOTHER REASON IS THAT LOTS OF AMERICANS CONSIDERED CANADIANS OF BEING FAT AND DIDNT LIKE TO SEE OVER CORPULENT CANADIANS ON THERE BEACHES.
ANYWAY I HAVE WENT TO FLORIDA 4 TIMES AND BELEAVE ME IV SEEN A HELL OF A LOT OF AMERICANS OVER WEIGHTS ON BEACHES TO.

Im right with you with your same questions--Both Ocean City and Point Pleasant were both VERY conservative--I had my Adidas Olympic on at point Pleasant last summer, yes under my boardies. It was sad as that suit is awesome and so rear.

I have gone to Sandy Hook many times and have ALWAYS wore my speedo there. I have gone to the main beach, the side one across the road in the bay, and Gunnison too. I have always wanted to try the north beach as everyone says how awesome it is.

I usually go myself and wouldnt mind having someone to hang out with--I usually bring my boogie board with me.

Let's get this thread revived again...summer is coming! Let's make a point and meet up at the beach this year! Just picked up a boogie board and want to try it out!

We can meet off site (like at wawa's or something) and hang out for the day!

When I go to Gunnison, it is for the nude beach. However, because the showers by the bathhouse are outside and near the road, you are expected to wear some sort of clothing at the shower when you rinse off. I mostly wear my speedos there, and then go to the bath house to change into my clothes for my drive home.

Have you ever taken the walk to and from the beach and showered in a thong or g-string? I have seen a few men do so.

Hi minimalist. I have not been to the beach since 2021. I bought my first swim thong in 2023, so I have not worn a thong from the beach to the showers. I think that might be a legitimate item to wear since it is intended as a swimsuit. If I wore "underwear thong" I don't know if it would be accepted, but that might all have been in my mind.

Since you mentioned seeing some men do the long walk to and from the bath house to the beach, I will give it a try this Summer.

Some men, including me remove what little they are wearing as soon as they are comfortable out of site of the road. One of the men in a g-string mentioned that he removes it as soon as he gets to the path because it is difficult to tell from behind whether he is wearing it or not.
I saw someone else in the parking lot with bold minimal coverage on 2 occasions. He was just wearing 2 small rectangles of cloth covering his crotch and crack and held together by a string. His sides were essentially bare.
Once I left the parking lot for the beach a little before he did. By the time he caught up to me on the path, he had removed even that minimal cover.
