Not sure, but looks like So CA

I think this is one of the beaches in Southern CA. It looks like possibly Huntington Beach, which does have some fitness equipment along the beach. Or up near Santa Monica?

Thanks...

....that gives me a starting point for a little image-browsing - and the fitness station might nail it as it is of zinc plated steel whereas they are usually seen painted (not that I mind either way when there are users like that to be found on the beach).

ocean facility

Thanks for help but didn't resolve that one unfortunately and now I have another question.
Could this beach be in Oz? * Most unusual - I have not before seen a pool constructed like this for water polo in the sea:

*do I read budgy smuggler on white banner?

Not sure, but whale visiting Oz there was a swim club built into the rocks and the waves would sometime crash over the wall into the pool.

Very interesting place.

must check....

That's familiar - maybe Bondi or Sydney near the bridge

Does this fit?

At Coogee near Sydney and caption says don't get too comfortable there as waves from the sea come crashing over.

The previous photo looked like a floating pool.
They had one in the Medway before the Great War.
Remember I have this photo of it taken in 1895.
Sorry in puzzle format but in a hurry and too big to post lol.

...and River Mersey

Before that (1874) the Indefatigable ( a naval training ship for boys) had
one attached for swim lessons:
