I am always looking to having fun by doing things, to, with and my myself, and, of course, if I am to be successful much of these efforts involve employing a snug-fitting clothing item of one sort or another. Generally, my goal is to get me to the point of feeling horny, which, as my readers know, often involves working myself up to the point of dripping.

But there are other clothing items that work well to accomplish variations on the same theme, one of them being the male athletic supporter and in particular a supporter bearing a protective cup designed to take a blow if a guy's penis or 'nads take a blow in an athletic competition.

Years back, 30 to 50 years ago, athletic supporters were mainly sold in drug stores. If a young budding athlete was going to participate in a competition such as football or basketball, he needed to be wearing a n athletic supporter with a protective cup, as coach required with. So the guy went off to the local drug store to buy one. The designs were close to all the same as were the designs of the cups. The supporter aka "jock" or jock strap typically were made of a coarse-textured rubberized elastic with a softer sewn in pouch to hold the cup. There was no back to the strap other than two elastic straps that fit snug enough so that the cupped pouch was forced to be held firmly against the guy's groin and basically not able to move to provide any "relief" whatsoever. The penis was held snug within this rather flat-and-narrow cup with a steady pressure on it from the cup walls. Many guys were very wary of being cupped and strapped, because important stuff tended to get bigger under such firm-but-gentle pressure. I was no athlete in high school, and certainly I did not compete is a sport that required me to wear a strap and cup. Still, I admired the guys who were both willing and able to do do. So in college, as a young adult living away from home, I could pursue this line of research and not have to explain to anyone why I had gone out and bought straps. The cupped strap I want to talk about this morning is a vintage one from a company named Futuro. I bought this strap in the late 1990s from a drug store in a small rural town where I graduated from high school in the 1960s just like a male high school athlete would have purchased for wearing in contact sport play, and it is a vintage design, 3-inch waistband made of heavy elastic with two narrower leg straps that control the tension applied to pulling the cup and pouch snug to the penis and groin. The strap was in fine shape. The elastic waistband was strong and had not deteriorated over time. However, the elastic in the leg straps had deteriorated and stretched out so there was less horizontal tension on the pouch and cup. The solution was to cut the leg straps and shorten them enough so the pouch and cup again fit snugly to my groin. That works great. There is a constant yet gentle tension on my penis when I wear the cupped strap. My penis is way smart and quickly realizes when it is in a happy place within the hard walls of that snug-fitting cup. It responds the only may it can, by dripping precum and telling my brain that it has found a fun place surrounded by the not-very-roomy hard cup all around. In a banana cup a guys penis just flops around in an oversized space with the cup providing no tension whatsoever.

An ebay vendor has a vintage Futuro (size small) for sale but the asking price is $60. This is supposed to be NOS but I gather the leg strap elastic has also deteriorated because of age and the leg straps would need the shortening treatment too.

Having said that, getting to wear a snug-fitting vintage style strap is one of those things no guy should miss out on, analogous to the first time a guy puts on a snug-fitting swim brief.

These are simple ways of enjoying yourself and your body. With the right gear all of this is way fun to do.

Still really cold weather here, and I am bundled up with an outer layer of heavy duty black sweatshirt and black Puma sweat pants.

I liked the undergarment under the sweatpants of some really tight fitting Tesla branded running tights. The snug fit holds in the body heat unlike the outer layer sweatpants that of course fit looser to the body. If you have not tried this combination in the winter I urge you to do so. The running tights are designed with a single seam in back that cuts exactly between the glutes.

I have my tighty whiteys on again today as a base layer. But this morning I decided I wanted to add another layer. I have always been fascinated with strap sizing, and the one I am wearing is an old School Y LRG which stands for Youth Large. bare back and leg straps with a waist size and a wide elastic waistband that I can just barely fit into. That strap fits tight enough so I can fit my penis into a secure "up" position. Then with all the other layers going on over, the supertight tights feel really really good over the strap, a truly fun place to be.

When I was just a very young man....
 

Back starting in the late 1950s and the early 1960s, nearly every guy about my age wore white ribbed cotton briefs. After all that's what dad wore as well.

I started off with an undersized pair of tighty whiteys. I was "hungry to get into a strap and old school cup and I found one that was just the ticket.
