The Running Channel presenters seemed prejudiced in the manner in which they made this film. After running up and down the same bit of city canal path and for the most part being ignored they then started grabbing people and asking if the running shorts were too short, inviting the public to agree with them. The male presenter admitted to feeling embarrassed making the film, yet he didn't have tan lines for longer shorts, this is a guy that does get out much. he 's not a runner, he's a jogger.

As a former club runner and running coach this and other videos by the Running Channel are just embarrassing, the upbeat super females and the useless man formula and the lack of anything useful to say about anything is depressing.

Ignore these clowns and get out and run, and if you feel comfortable in shorts you can actually move freely in then wear them.

These recent videos show that track runners are also taking on the traditional shorter look and getting away from the longer "shorts".

OMG YES!

I've been saying this for a while now.

There are no manly men on TV these days. Men are always represented as idiots who too stupid for their own good and must be taken care of by the super-woman of the show that has a full time job, does all the house work and cooking, and keeps her man in line. We have a fully grown man-child problem. Meanwhile, I'm perfectly "man" enough to do laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc; and not feel emasculated by it.

Again, I completely agree! Who gives a shit what other people think. If it is comfortable for you to wear when you are doing your activity, then wear it and quit worrying about it. Be it running shorts for runners, swim briefs for swimmers and divers, or wrestling singlets for wrestlers. You need to just put on your sport's uniform and wear it with pride!

I found a new convert from knee length to short shorts in the basketball arena.

The latest fan of the pre-90s look is a player named Lester Quinones:

I will post more on this breaking news item later. :D

Lester Quinones looks like he's playing sport while the others look like supporters out for a drink.
